A to Z Bookish Survey Tag

Thank you to one of the good people I know, Tiffany from read by tiffany for tagging me! Hey, there Tiff you’ve been awesome!

Okay so, here it is~~RATING

Author you’ve read the most books from

Cassandra Clare. I don’t know if series counts but yeah, I’ve read most books from her.

Best Sequel Ever

Since I don’t read lots of books series, I can’t think of the best sequel yet.

Currently Reading

If Only I’d Listened by Claire Boley. TBH, I read this for a review, so yeah… review coming up your way! lol jk

Drink of Choice While Reading

Tea, and sometimes coffee. But mostly tea.

E-reader or Physical Book?

I actually prefer physical book. It started with that, my passion. But it seems like it doesn’t matter anymore to me as both of it have its own perks. Especially e-book because I found myself easy to annotate anytime I want and so does highlighting! It’s just so easy!

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School

Ummm, no. No dating, please.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. TBH, I picked this book because it was so hyped back then which made me wanted to have it just like everyone else (I know, I know, such a fool) but hey, it’s not so bad. I loved it. Except that I had a slump on the sequel hehe. Not because of the book though, it was me. I was procrastinating and when I want to read it back, I’m so lost already.img_1315

Hidden Gem Book

For now, A Distant Voice by Bridie Blake! I wasn’t expecting this will be such a good read. At all.

Important Moment in Your Reading Life

Finally making friends in the blogging community / bookish people. I am actually scared to interact with others because I have this thing inside my head telling me “what if you follow/comment on their social media and they ignore you?” hahahah I can be friendly but very I’m anxious at times.

Just Finished

The Way You Make Me Feel by Maurene Goo. It’s an ARC and I’m still thinking if I should buy the physical copy once it’s out. I like the book but my money is still debating with me. I’m broke af~

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read

Hmmm. Maybe, like, biographies??

Longest Book You’ve Read

City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare, perhaps. I actually don’t have/read that much thick books. And the series is long too.

Major Book Hangover because of

For One More Day by Mitch Albom. I borrowed it from the local library back in 2013, which mean I was 14 yo. It was such a good book and kept me thinking about it for weeks (it actually gave an impact to me throughout the year). I describe the book as ‘makan dalam’ in my language which have a close meaning to ‘deep’, because it gave such a big impact to me in some ways. Anyway, it’s funny that I thought the book was non-fiction and I believed it was a real story. And honestly, it took me almost 5 years to find the book again, and it’s not helping that it wasn’t in English edition so it’s hard to look it up on Google (I didn’t even remember the title, let alone the author).

Number of Bookcases You Own

Six, I guess??

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times

Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler. It brings me to winter and the feel of ‘being’ in the season. Pfft

Preffered Place to Read

In bed, mostly. But I read anywhere.

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read

“Imagine all the stars in the galaxy in one pair of eyes, all the sureness of home in one pair of arms, all the heroics of a thousand epic tales in one noble heart. This is my love.”

I fell in love with this. Every. time.

Reading Regret

3VOLVE by Josefina Gutierrez. I picked this book for a review from Lola’s Blog Tour and tell you what, this book was bad in so many aspects. I’m frustrated.

Series You Started and Need To Finish (all books are out in series)

I’ve started reading Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children but I never finished the whole series. Ooops.

Three of Your All-Time Favorite Books

Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler
For One More Day by Mitch Albom
All the Little Lights by Jamie McGuire

Unapologetic Fangirl for

Now that the question is here, I don’t know actually. I mean, I fangirl over every little things and now that I think about it, it actually sucks to be me.IMG-7661

Very Excited for This Release More Than All the Others

. . . none? I am so behind new books and what so right now.

Worst Bookish Habits

I want to own every books with aesthetic covers. Hehe.

X Marks the Spot: Start at the Top Left of Your Shelf and Pick the 27th book

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Your Latest Book Purchase

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you WAY late)

Pedigree Mum by Fiona Gibson. This is my first chick-lit book ever so I was excited to read it even though it was exam week. But as guilty as I was, I can’t put it down lol.RATING
