Hiiiii, friends! Now that we’re in July, I feel nervous and scared because my result is getting near. But also, deep down inside, I actually can not wait haha. π Well, there’s nothing interesting happened this June. Just me doing my unproductive routine. π
In the Blogging Life π
I know Iβm often come and go of this blogging life. I wanted to be consistent but I was having a terrible slump that I couldnβt fight so I just wait for the mood to return. Also, it wasnβt easy coming up with great posts. π
Anyway, Iβm finally over my reading slump and started to read again. I really, really hope it will stay away because itβll be the downfall of my blogging activities. π§¨
Outside of the Blogging Life πΏ
Apart from reading, I am also busy finishing my K-drama and C-drama. Currently, Iβm watching a 44 episodes drama. π And not just that, I still have a ~long~ list of awaiting K-dramas I want to watch.
Other than that, Iβve also reactivated my old Instagram. This one is personal, though. I actually had a hard decision whether to use it again because I was very anxious and insecure. π₯ And so, I decided to delete tons of strangers and just keep my friends and the ones I know. There are also some mutuals from the bookish community. So, if you feel like following me on personal Instagram, feel free. π₯°
What Iβve Read π
Since I just recovered from my slump, I only managed to read three books this June.
Natalie Tanβs Book of Luck and Fortune by Roselle Lim ππππ.5
I read this for a blog tour hosted by Rafael @ The Royal Polar Bear Reads! I’m so glad I enjoyed this book so much π₯° I didn’t know that this book is combined with magical realism. It was such a good read. I enjoyed reading about the cooking and the food so much that maybe, maybe someday, I’ll try the given recipes in this book.π
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler πππππ
Sarah Ockler was my first author of my first favorite novel, Bittersweet. After years of having this book on my to-be-read, I decided to read it now. And it didn’t disappoint me at all! It was like I’m falling for her piece again. π€© But this book isn’t a fun summer book; this one is such an emotional read.
Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim πππππ
Aaaargh!! I still can’t believe I got to read this book! I really, really wanted to read this book and I was SO excited when Shealea @ Shut Up, Shealea is hosting a blog tour for this book. And so, when I got the email from Shealea that I’ll be participating the tour, I was beyond ecstatic! π€© And now that I’ve read the book, I’m glad that I enjoyed it so much!! You guys need to read this book!
How was your June? Did you read more books? Or did you having slump like I did?
